Thank you. It's really all stuff I could find out on the web if I tried, but I like being able to say "here, can anyone tell me...". Also, I know that , within Tea certainly, people are unlikely to go off into realms of jargon and stuff I don't need to know.
Just to prepare everyone, the next query may well be about chainsets. I need to count up the teeth on the FCR (gearing just about right) and see if I can replicate it. Thought I had the old chainset, but it seems not...
