How's the back today?

I just popped in for some sugar lumps, getting the energy up to put the tandem together and collect Ms tdr1nka from school, another lovely afternoon for a ride tho!

D'ya mind if I tie Neddy up outside? He's a very friedly horse, security trained to bite only 6 people on this forum.

LOL

I'll hold onto him if you like, and if you'll bring me a cuppa. A sort of valet hitching service.

Can I give him a Polo mint?

Thank you, oh yes he loves Polos. What hereally likes is if you read some Dick Francis to him.

Ok. Would he prefer I censor any bits on which horses get shot, or is he into horror?

BTW, did you ride in on a Western Saddle? I'd like to have a go, I've only ridden English.

Is this about that poll?

Oooooh maybe, kinda sorta, just a modicom of the teensiest wee bit..........

Neddy does like horror; Steven King, James Herbert, etc. but not so keen on Anne Rice epics or fantasy books.

I got him an ipod for xmas and now he can listen to talking books while out on the road!

Tdr1nka, are my toasted cheese sarnies ready yet? An hour is a long time to wait for them;).

And a fresh pot of tea please. The back is no better, and the shoulders, legs, knees, ankles, wrist and neck still ache like *********.
Waiting for an appointment with someone who might know what they are talking about. Painkillers make no difference whatsoever. So I shall have some (late) lunch and lots of Tea and return to my comfy warm bed.

I am sure Neddy is very friedly. The horse that did this to me was a Very, Very Highly Strung, thoroughbread wotsit of a horse, she  is now getting a reputation as being seriously spooked by the slightest thing, not very helpful in a three day event competition at the sort of level that my niece competes in, (just short of the Badminton Horse Trials level).
I think I will stick with pussy cats. Leo is not keen on unexpected noises, but is ok with fireworks. He does, however, have trouble identifying his own reflection.
