Tea? (Part 1)

Not this week I'm afraid but next week is looking good.

I'm still not used to riding an ali frame.
It's good and light for gettin the bike in and out of the flat but it is a very different ride. It needs slick tyres as well.

On a more positive note, it was much faster than Oadrat on my 'training' hill.

I'm off out again to do some errands, I'll report more later.

No, no, you put them over a gap and get an elephant to sit on them.

I've got a new bike too. Alas, I've had to carry it from the station, it's a tad too small for me.

I'd give it a try, only I'd be afraid of breaking it. I don't suppose it's designed to hold 11 stone.

I see what everyone means about the seat stays.
They are uniformly curved like that so it must be part of the design, although in the picture on the Evan's web site the stays are straight.

I suspect they'll tell you summat about "vertical compliance" whilst "retaining torsional rigidity".
