I'd give it a try, only I'd be afraid of breaking it. I don't suppose it's designed to hold 11 stone.

Sooooooooooooooooo cute though![/QUOTE]

It's time to trot out that line...

This thread is useless without photos!!!!

I think that aunties who buy their nephew their first bike, are perfecty entitiled to get over-excited by the prospect!

The technical details of said bike might be lost on me

But can we guess: Frame size
No of gears
sort of brakes?
will it fit beside the bed?

Tomorrow! I have my camera, but not the lead to connect it to the 'puter.

My friends said yesterday, I should have dressed in full lycra gear, shoes, helmet etc, to go over and collect it, and then travel back on the train standing with it as if it was mine...

On the plus side, if I have to take it to my sister's on the train, I should, with the seat down and the bars turned, be able to fit it in my big rucksack!

Now I'm just dying to give it to Oli - although he's so obsessed with trains at the moment, he might not be so excited....

Dammit, the thing's making me broody!

Frame size: Dinky.
Gears: 24" (two feet)
Brakes: V, one on the rear wheel.
Fit beside the bed? Even in my flat, yes. It'll probably live alongside Monty, my winter hack, until I deliver it. Monty is sensible and solid and will be able to impart all sorts of wisdom to the youngster while it's there.

I'm struggling not to rush out and kit it out with bell, lights, etc...

I should go, I need to pay my credit card at the cash point, drop the little 'un off at home and then go out for some bread and milk and stuff - I'm not lugging him round Sainsburys, he's surprisingly heavy to carry any distance, and I'm too tall to wheel him...

You could ride it there, surely?
