Can anyone hear a faint clucking noise?

Anyway, Uncle Phil, that sounds like a very good holiday. I've never canoed any distance, but I've always thought it sounds like a nice way to travel. Perhaps you need a pedal boat like the one in the latest Velo Vision, with a tent on board....

As promised, a photo of the new arrival, under the wing of the sure and steady Monty HackBike:

Apologies for the dreadful clutter behind. My sister is very excited about it, and thinks Oli will be too, if he can be distracted from choo-choo's for long enough.

Also, spotted from the train yesterday, on the loading bay of Taylors of Harrogate:

Puts kettle on.

Evening meal was delicious and needs to be finished of with a fine brew. The meal consisted of slow-cooked beef brisket (organic beef from local farm, slaughtered a couple of miles from the farm and butchered on the farm itself), cabbage, carrots, runner beans, summer squash from my garden & neighbour's garden. It was seriously tasty.
