Anyway, Uncle Phil, that sounds like a very good holiday. I've never canoed any distance, but I've always thought it sounds like a nice way to travel. Perhaps you need a pedal boat like the one in the latest Velo Vision, with a tent on board....

Puts kettle on.

Evening meal was delicious and needs to be finished of with a fine brew. The meal consisted of slow-cooked beef brisket (organic beef from local farm, slaughtered a couple of miles from the farm and butchered on the farm itself), cabbage, carrots, runner beans, summer squash from my garden & neighbour's garden. It was seriously tasty.

Someone put the kettle on, I'm dying of thirst here. Seriously. Too much garlic on the beef & potatoes, which although it tastes yummy, it always makes me thirsty.
