That's not good. You have my deepest sympathies.

*hands out tea to go with the sympathy;)*

Awake, I think?

Miss tdr1nka is still asleep and I'm wracking my brains to think of something we can do today that doesn't either cost sheds of money or bore her to tears.

Having the tandem is saving us a fortune in fares tho. We might just go for a long ride together later.

Sadly a lot of her friends are away on holiday and she's fed up with having no one to play with.

*Puts kettle on again.*

How are the Waffles this fine morrow?

Hello Dom - Trafalgar Square - National Portrait Gallery, followed up by some home portrait sessions...each other - or look in the mirror and draw!
Show mini tdr1nka paintings from a distance and then go close up and look at how 'shiny buttons' on a tunic are really painted! Lucky boy. Have fun!
*Coffee's on* Time for a quick muffin before work.

Good thinking there 'Peri! Thank you!

Miss tdr1nka and I are now going for a muffin breakfast at our favourite c*ff** shop and to another friends with a young daughter for her to play with.
I think Lil' T is getting fed up with just my company.

Morning chaps. We're back from discovering the Wye.

I say, is that tea...?

Gurgle.

I thought of a 4 word phrase to ask you about the quality of your holiday, and whether your garment luggage proved sufficient:

How Wye? What wear?

<serves tea, and ducks thrown stale scones>

Kettle's boiling! Tea all round?

On a food theme, may I present one of the most welcome meals I've ever had - on Saturday after the 60k sportive...

I'm sure you'll agree, a well balanced, isotonic masterpiece. Washed down with two cups of lemon squash and followed up with a muffin and cup of tea....

Who ate all the pies.

Looks like Arch.

Do the posh cafes of York do pie'n peas.?

Hmmm. I dunno, I don't go to many posh cafes! Betty's probably do, only it'll be called Beef en croute and petit pois.

You know, Landslide, you're right, I didn't have any cheese all weekend:ohmy:. The veggie option was a cheese and onion pasty....

My god, though, that pie barely touched the sides once I tucked in. And it was free! (well, included in the entry price, along with energy bars, feed station with unlimited cake and drinks, tee shirt and water bottle, plus the whole organisation of the event. Top value.)
