Wow, sounds great. I've always fancied a teeny campervan like that!
And canoeing... There's something special about travelling under your own steam from night to night, (walking or cycling), but doing so on the water seems even more.... primitive, but in a good way. (sort of Ray Mears-y)
I looked at my maps yesterday and worked out that it is about 110 miles to my Mum's, maybe a touch less, depending on the route chosen. I'm sorely tempted now to just turn up one evening....
But not until she's back and settled from Canada - she should be in the air now, I think. David is taking Oli to Heathrow to pick up her up, and My sister was talking about making a "Grandma" sign for him to hold, preferably a multi-media fingerpainting and glued on lentils type.
