That ? we have one here as well. I have also been instructing it on the art of staying shiney and visible, hot even!

In fact it looked too hot to go to my great-grandfather's for lunch, so that has been postponed until Friday.

Tomorrow night is Dennis Locorriere (aka Dr Hook)

I didn't see any shade from 12:30 until I got home.
My legs are nice and brown now, but only from above the sock line to the knee.
*Note to self, get shorter shorts.*

I was in jeans and tee-shirt, and my arms are a sort of lucky grey....

My cyclist's tan is pretty good this year, I must say.

I'm thinking of playing hooky tomorrow and going out for a ride, not done a long distance for a fortnight and my cyclogs total is sadly low....

Right, I'm off home, to do something creative with tuna. Well, it won't be creative, it'll be what I normally do, a tomato sauce with pepper and olives, over spaghetti. Mmmmm

Have a fun evening. Gosh, it'll be a whole different dynamic when I eventually have to switch to internet at home and join the evening bunch....

They Laydeez are currently dining on their spaghetti in the garden. Their's has a dressing of olive oil and dried mealworms. They love it!

Corvette, it is Dennis on his own. I saw him last year, and it was wonderful, apart from a bit too much swearing. What a voice, well he is Canadian, and single (?)

Aperitif I notice you are near Heathrow. Years ago, many years, I used to work part time behind the bar in a pub opposite the airport. A pub called 'The Airman'.

I wondered if it was still there.

Still there. On the Hanworth Road - about two minutes cycle from where I live - but I have never entered its hallowed doors...
