Afternoon Spiecher. How's things?
Like the rose, by the way. That vase suites it.

Just got in from a short ride with a long bacon sandwich. Nearly 50 miles over the weekend - not huge but not bad for the time of year.

Thank you for asking Doctor, things are slightly better, but I feel very stiff all over. Might try gentle swimming this week.

Recent photos posted on here have made me think about how many regular posters on Tea? have pets. Not in any particular order, Longers (Heidi), BJB (Katie), LOTP (gnasher), Col (pussycat*), Me (Leo the cat), Arch (baby elephant by proxy;)).

There would seem to be a higher percentage of animal people in this thread than in the population as a whole. Does anyone agree with this profoundment?

* yes, Col, I agree you are not a pussycat, but I cannot remember the names of your pussycat(s).

Well, I've got a dog. Holly is a black Lab / boxer cross, the practical upshot of which is that she looks like a lab, but has a white patch on her chest. She's very cute.;)

Swimming - not a bad one. No impact, and not particularly weight bearing. And the warmth should help with the stiffness. Assuming you're not going in the sea.:angry:

Taking the biscuit
Tdr1nka Towers boasts a diabetic cat called Tuesday, and until a couple of years ago I had my faithfull Jack Russel, Jim.
Owing to a lot of travelling and Jim's encroaching old age, I had to re-home the old fella for his own comfort.
He happily now lives with friends who have two other JR's and is very spoilt and contented.

Oh scones, yes please. And a nice strong cuppa tea.

Tdr1nka how did your cat get the name Tuesday, did he arrive on a Tuesday, or did you take all day to choose ;) him?

*offers blackcurrant and nettle infusion* it's too late for caffeine for me.

Pet update:
Heidi has gone on her holidays to play with Baxter, Campbell, Sadie, Lily, Macy, Drum, Mara, Breeze, Rio, Poppy, Dawn, Tilly, Edward and Sophie.

Blue = Dogs
Green = Horses
Orange = Sheep

She'll be kept busy!

I've got three cats too. They don't live with me at the moment but they may well do in the future.

:biggrin:Is it the way the photo was taken, or has Billy got stripey "whiskers"? Eddy looks very handsome. Will there be room for them when you move into your "new" house?

Billy spends ages in front of the mirror each morning applying mousecara to get the stripey look :biggrin:. Actually he's 14 now and that is the best photo I've got :becool:. He is Topcat number1 supremo :becool:.

Eddy is cute but dim. Very, very dim.

Not sure about moving them, where they are living now (my old house) is a truly perfect location to be a cat. Where I hope to move to is good for pussingtons but maybe not quite as good. We'll have to think about what's best for them.
