Hang on, I think I've figured it out: as in time to Van Gogh?

That's the kitty.
Doing the Vincent van Gogh = doing the off. A guy at my last place used that expression all the time, and it just kind of stuck in my head. It's recently resurfaced because there's a new housing development called Vincent Place being built near me. Vincent motorbikes were built about 5 minutes walk away from TheDoctor Towers.

* Speicher arrives wearing Uncle Bulgaria's Green Tweed pill box hat and Tweed poncho *

He lent me these last night, so I would not get cold. (Perhaps he should have lent them to Arch). I thought he came home with me, but he escaped, perhaps he finds if diificult to live at the top of a hill, after spending so much time underground or in cupboards.

I watched a programme last night that may well appeal to the sense of humour of certain citizens of Tea? Its called "The Big Bang Theory", and was on Channel four at 10pm, but it is repeated at 11.25pm on Friday.
It is about four frieds who know more about physics etc, than they do about relating to others, especially women. Very, very funny I thought, you might like to try it. ;)

Sounds just like my life, that. Apart from the friends bit, obviously! I shall check out the repeat.

Sorry about the delay in replying - I got sidetracked by one of the users phoning up. Anyone would think I was the helpdesk (yes, all of it) today.

The tweed suits you. I'm surprised Chuffy hasn't turned up to add his approval. Maybe he's off looking for the womble.

You, the cat, and a pomegranate - I don't even want to think about it:ohmy:. I'll stick with a tweedy Speicher:tongue:

I'm about to have a glass of South African Shiraz. Anyone want to join me?

Yes please to a glass of wine.

And Chuffy, please do not bash the pomegranate. You will spend the rest of the weekend cleaning up the kitchen before Baggy comes home on Sunday. You wouldn't want her to be wondering what happened when she was away would you?

BTW what makes you thing the Womble was getting cross when he was dressing?

Big hairy knickers!
Just cycled out to visit a chum in hospital, thought I'd pop in to Sainsburys on the way back to get some nibbly comestibles to supplement the pomegranate. Discovered that I'd left my wallet at home. Put nibbly comestibles back on shelf.
Am now going to head back out to re-attempt the purchase of said comestibles. That's an extra 12 miles just because I'm a greedy git....

Then I'm going to curl up with the cat and more Black Books while conducting delicate surgery on this pomegranate.

Spikes - If you were wearing Great Uncle Bulgegaria's shawl, what did you give him to wear? He is a very old womble and feels the cold. I trust that you at least had a spare pair of tweed bloomers to lend him?

Like it - 12 miles back home and out again...cool..on bike as well.... say's me tucking into a bottle of Hardy's Crest Red..hmmmmmm nice.....

Been off this week with the kids, and been off the blooming bike with my chest since early this week - today's 21 mile ride, was quick, but I've been having nasty coughing attacks since getting back... all this seasonal air temp the last couple of days..... 7c rather than 14c earlier... no rain though, and sunny....

Tweed bloomers, I am sure you realise Chuffy, would be extremely itchy, even for a womble. I lent him a blanket to keep warm. I have now returned his green Tweed garments.

BTW would you care to look at my post no 57 on the Valentine's Dinner thread? Have I just been very late posting it, or is it just far too subtle for the comprehension of members?:wacko:

*gets back, slightly breathless*

That appeared to be a very tiny gym, Speicher. It was more the size of, I don't know, a broom cupboard or closet or something. I bet you're glad to be out of there.
Can I fill your glass? If Chuffy comes along I'll fill his one too.

Now, hows the back tonight?
