Off to Worcester this afternoon instead of Stratford. Might pop into one or two shops to see if I can find a new swimsuit. Ready for the warmer weather and we can use (with LOTP's very kind permission) the pool.

Might also visit the Cathedral and the river, and of-course the Tea Shop.
Ben the Bear wants to come with me, but I have told him that there is no longer a Cawardines tea emporium in Worcester.

BTW he had to have a bath last night. The Doctor gave him so much honey and he got in such a sticky mess, (how does a bear manage to get honey on his knees?) a bath was the only option.

You really don't want to know. Suffice to say there are websites that require your credit card details and a tickbox to confirm you are over 18 to find out that sort of thing... Really.

Evening all!
*comes in, puts kettle on, shivers and stands hogging fire*

I can indeed confirm the existence of a very small baby elephant at Whipsnade:thumbsup:. It's really really really sweet.
Photos to come in due course, as well as some rather out-of-focus ones of an ostrich that tried to peck my camera.

To my chagrin (if that's the word I'm after) I can also confirm that after some dieting and exercise I am now the same weight as a new-born baby elephant.

I was unable to bring back any wriggling and trying-to-escape souvenirs. Not even a numbat. I did get quite close to a tiger, but my chances of passing it of as a rather extravagant scarf were not high. Plus it had really big teeth.

The wallabies were nice. There's nothing like a crisp bright February day, rolling English countryside and a herd of wallabies bounding along past the penguins to make you realise what a messed-up lot we really are.

*Offers Earl Grey to any that want it, chucks extra log on fire*

Sorry to have got your bear sticky, Speicher. Do you need a hand sorting him out there?
And Waffles, that's a gross suggestion.
*googles for 'sticky bear'*
:biggrin::eek::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Found several suitable sites, but none very close to here!

Sounds like a good day out Doctor . I'm also glad you didn't put yourself at too much risk for the sake of an ickle tiger . Keep your eyes peeled though eh?

Rest assured, longers, if I see a baby tiger on the ride to work tomorrow it'll be in the pannier before it knows what's going on! If you get a rather frenetic PM closely followed by a parcel with airholes, expect the best / worst, depending on your viewpoint.:becool:
Enjoy the beer, I'm about to go and grab one. There's nothing like a beer in the bath to make me come over all Men Behaving Badly.

I am in a position to offer someone a badger;). It's been two-dimensional for a week now, and is possibly a bit whiffy.

Spiecher - can I pour you some pink Cava? It's kind of off dry, and a bit fruit-driven and bubbly.
*passes pink fizz, and Manchego cheese with chorizo sausage, sliced up thin*
