TheDoctor has spent the weekend being TheAmateurBuilder, and is currently on Cape Clear Island (google it, it's nice).

Now if only the tdr1nkas were at the country seat.
Our retreat is in Allihies, a couple of penninsula west of your location and not too far from Bantry.
Small world isn't it?!

I had a holiday in Ireland some years ago. Spent a few days at Castletownshend. I am sure I visited Clear Island, and also Mizen Head, followed by a few days at Waterville. Went to Caherdaniel (wonderful beach, I'm sure you know that). Then a week in Killarney, walking etc, and managed, by accident, to find a House Dance.

I have also travelled around Ireland by train, Kilkenny, Tralee, and Galway.

What were you building on Clear Island. *makes note, can I fly from Birmingham to Cork *

Well, he couldn't fix it, but thinks it's fixable. My laptop that is. Have to take it into a shop he's recommended.

Gosh it is quiet isn't it? I blame the Doctor.

Well, I suppose half a malted milk with some fluff on it counts as a biscuit. Perhaps I should nip to the shops...

Hi all. Did you miss me? *grins*

Well, that was fun.Ferry at stupid o'clock, but I did manage to change my flight back, rather than spend the day at Cork Airport.
And I was helping my mates build their house. Wiring mostly, and chasing conduit and pipes into walls..
Anyway, try those (passes Baileys truffles and Guinness chocolate round) while I get some tea. Earl Grey anyone?

Um, there seems to be something moving, in that large bag marked "Souvenir of Dublin Zoo"..

Can I have a *hot* cup of tea please? I've not thawed out from my 50km lunchtime ride today. I require warming up. Thoroughly. Brrrrrr... it's chilly out there and you know the headwind is bracing when you have to pedal to go downhill..

Bloody agency still haven't heard back about my interview. *looks put out*

Sorry to hear about your laptop there. How did you break it, or would I rather not know?

Tell you, I've got all sorts of unusual aches from building work. Anyone like to offer me a massage?
