Smells lovely Arch. Just let me have a little nibble, if you would.

What a mess!

One of my store cupboard stand-bys. Chopped onion, fry in a little oil, add tinned tomatoes, chopped pepper if you have it in, tinned tuna, black olives, tomato purree as required to thicken, black pepper, mixed herbs... Serve over pasta of choice. Or rice. Or, in extremis, Smash.

Add any left over veg (sweetcorn, courgette etc) to use up and feel smug about 5 a day attainment. Guess what I had last night. Which means there's a half tin of tuna, and 2/3s of a tin of tomatoes left. Guess what I may have again tonight...

And hello to you too! I've got some smoothie in the fridge if anyone would like some? Mango and passionfruit, it is. 'Snice, and very good for you. Full of vitamins and, erm, things.

Ms tdr1nka translates 'things' as yukky bits.
The tdr1nka's are very used to 'stupid o'clock' as there was no Fishguard to Cork ferry last year, so we had to go to Roslair which is then a 6hr drive to Allihies! Blergh.

More tea anyone?

Not for me thank you, I think I'll be off home now, need to find some reduced bread at Morrisons, and then knock up a plateful of something nice. Probably with tuna in it.

At work tomorrow, the way it works out, I need to do a second day in a week every 4th week, to make up the hours (would start earlier, but that would mean boss getting in earlier too!), so it's two days in the office this week. So I'll pop in at lunchtime and say hello! Have fun, and someone wipe the Doctor down a bit, he's all over tomato sauce...

Love some, thanks!
It was a Swansea / Cork ferry, no? and yes, Rosslare to southwest Cork is a hell of a trek. We did that a few years ago. St Ephanage to Fishguard or Pembroke or wherever the hell it was, get on a ferry at gone 2 am, get 4 hours sleep then drive down to Baltimore. I would not recommend this as a relaxing start to Christmas.
Next to that, today was a doddle. We got the 0715 ferry out from Cape to Baltimore, then headed up the N71, stopping off in Clonakilty for breakfast goodness and tea. Flight at 12ish, back to the delight that is Heathrow.
Allihies looks nice (i found some photos on Flicker) - might sneak off with my bike around there. I fancied doing the Ring of Kerry on a bike till I saw it - wall to wall coaches.

It's the Fishguard to Cork ferry that was out of commission this year gone.
The ferry company sold the boat and 'forgot' to buy a new one!LOL.

Yes, Allihies is staggeringly picturesque and if you are interested I am contemplating doing a little touring and maybe the local mountain descent on my trike this summer for a hoot! Anyway if you find yourself in the area when the tdr1nka's are in residence feel free to drop round for tea n sustinance etc.
