Joking aside Doc, it's a much better pic than your avatar, he's a bit, well, slimy.
I would post one of myself but I'm an ugly bastard

Well, I thought I was, but with everyone telling me otherwise I'll have to believe them.
Go on, surprise us!

Ah, didn't see that there. I can see they wouldn't go.
Are you doing any longish, audax-y rides up your way?
I need to start getting some miles in or I'm gonna come a hideous cropper on a certain Provence hill in May...

Quick, give me a cuppa, the workshops freezing this morning.
And I've just found out we've used 150 quids worth of kerosene in the last 7 days, aaaargh.
I need some comfort food

There's very little in the way of formal audax events now round Norfolk. But.. I have a cunning plan. A cycling acquaintance of mine just down the road has a local DIY 200km which he's done in the past. I forsee a request for route being made and certainly a leisurely day ride being made of it before doing it as a *proper* DIY.

Most weekends I'm out doing at least an 80km ride on one day of the weekend. Often Mr Wafflycat tags along and I have the great pleasure of admiring his lovely rear clothed in tight black Lycra. It does nothing to increase my speed as I like to keep the view

Morning all, you're all in good spirits!

I must admit, I wasn't sure about the personal pics at first (I like my cloak of real-life anonymity!) but they've really cheered me up this morning!

Morning Landslide!
Ooh *looks up, notes request, passes tea and bacon roll to Aint Skeered*

It's a fine morning and we're all happy happy happy!
And after all the news reports that Prozac doesn't actually work too.
*hides pack of 'special' tea*

Hello All! Just popping in before I get on with some work. I seem to have missed a lot of chatter and photoposting overnight. Doc, that's a lovely photo. I think there's nothing like a small child to bring out the big grins. Or in my case, also, a fluffy tiger. If you ever make your way up here, Doc, I can introduce you to Seamus (that's the tiger) and promise not to let him attack you. Well, that goes for everyone of course.

Oi! Ain't Skeered, did you just call David Tennant slimey!? That's grounds for attacking with a tiger if ever there was one. He was on Radio 4 last night (DT, not the tiger), interviewing Richard Wilson on Chain Reaction, and a very amusing half hour it was.

Waffley, I'm touched that you think I neither resemble Gordon Brown or Posh Spice. High praise indeed!

Well, better get on, I have an events list to compile.... If I may just help myself to a cuppa on the way out? I'll bring the mug back (washed of course) later...

*tea and fish finger roll hurriedly passed to Arch*

I'll be up there, Arch, never you fear. You've tempted me with the tiger.
And thanks:blush:

Heh-heh! I love the reaction one gets when wandering round outside with a mug of tea! We had a bomb-scare drill at work yesterday and I got plenty of odd/envious looks as we all stood about in the cold!
