i have a terrible feeling , that the good old British Isles is about to get a terrorist assault , it has been quiet .

I really hope not. What, and spoil the general good humour? We'll be fine. If a terrorist crops up here, I'll give them some tea and biskits, Waffles, Arch and Speichy can charm them and if that doesn't work we'll, oh I dunno, send them to Soapbox. Problem solved. A bit harsh on the terrorist, exposing them to simoncc and all that rough lot, but hey.

They had some images of newly-convicted terrorist-wannabees on the news the other day. I swear those beards were fake ones from a joke shop. What were they intending to do? Make us laugh oursleves to death? They just looked *seriously stupid*

Tea, please? Anyone got any flapjacks?

No idea, I'm afraid. Our branch of Lidl closed when Aldi opened up.
We're dead classy in St Evanage. Innit.

Pity, it's so nearly an anagram, then they could just swap the letters round on the building...

Just stopped for a quick bite to eat. Leftover spag bol from last night. Quite nice cold, but never quite enough....

Talking of fire alarms etc, when I worked at Iceland our alarm went off once so we staff had to go round the shop floor asking people to leave their trolleys and make their way outside. One chap said "Oh, yes, sure!" and started to go, and I had to stop him and suggest that while he should leave the trolley, it would be useful to take the toddler sitting in the seat...

It's a different building (which you wouldn't know) but a good plan other than that.

They do that all the time in Boots. That's how they get the babies for the home delivery service. Honestly, Arch, don't you know anything?:biggrin:

Yes, tea please. I have had to resort to taking some painkillers, and guess what, I now have an absolute corker of a headache.:wacko:

*Teas Speicher up, offers biskits*

Not good. I had a bit of a one earlier, so I took some ibuprofens. Nada. Not a damn thing. Then I had to go to the postbox (honestly people, it's a tough job I have here) and the fresh air has largely done the trick. The almond blossom's out here. At least, that's what I think is it. Little pale pink flowers on trees about 15 feet high.

Think of it as a beef and tomato pasta salad... Sounds a lot better.

*hangs head in shame*
no obviously not....

But hey! I'm going to be on the Radio York Breakfast Show on Monday morning, talking about my Helmetcam, unless a big story breaks in the meantime. Wooo Bigtime!

Anyway, better dash off now. Got to go and have a quick word with a chap downstairs about a possible job opportunity....
