Small of the back? Oh yes yes yes. Let me ease this up a bit. and those down a little. Oh, nice. Yes, those too, just a little bit. Maybe a little more, is that comfortable?
*barely contains wild and rampant enthusiasm:tongue::biggrin::tongue:*

Now, a little more oil, and lets see where you're all knotted up.

*Rubs Arch in manner that couldn't be confused with platonic in a month of Sundays*

@tdr1nka

Excellent! Hope you enjoy it. Will young Ms tdr1nka like it, do you think, or leave it a year or three?
No luck so far with copying 'From the Earth to the Moon' DVDs, so I'll lend them to you at some point.

Could be worse, there could be a womble involved.;)

*removes melted margarine and absent-mindedly spreads on toast*

Mmmm! Good toast. Slightly saltier than usual, but nice.

I'm here for you Waffles! Have some tea, and let's see if I can find that massage oil again.
*sticks another yule log on the fire*

Why the sudden interest in swimming? Never been all that keen on pools myself. Now the sea, quite another matter, if it's warm.

Oh - and 'Pish!' in your general direction. Aging timbers indeed. You're nowhere near aging yet, IMHO.Another 20 years, then you can talk about being aging, if you like.

My timbers are definitely aging, my good man, as they are in their fiftieth year! Not as springy and flexible as when they were in their twenties, but hopefully, a fair few years left in them before they crumble ( I hope!)

Why the swimming? Well, I want to try to keep the excess flab at bay. I so much as look as something in the food department that is less than utterly healthy and I gain weight. I kid you not. Sometimes life just sucks. I've got friends who can eat & eat all they want of the most wonderfully deliciously unhealthy stuff, who rarely eat fruit & veg, and are stick thin despite doing little exercise. As I said, sometimes life sucks. So, as much as I love cycling, I want to introduce another form of exercise into the Wafflycat routine. As swimming exercises upper body more than cycling, I'm giving it a go. I loathe going to the gym and if I do running, I give myself black-eyes and bruised knees.. My swimming style is not confident or fast, but like my cycling - I can keep going a-while before flaking out.

Hence the swimming. Plus I've discovered the joys of an almost empty pool! Hurrah!

I have the pleasure of regularly setting sail in a set of timbers some years older than yours, young Waffles:biggrin:. They've got loads of years left in them yet. That makes yours having (loads + 19) or so. Fret not.
