It's your mind. Really it is. I have no interest in tdrinkas backside, and he offered me the brownie. Hang on, I'm making it worse, aren't I?

*takes tea, dunks chocolate suggestive biskit*

no tea here ;) as there is no bloody milk in the fridge ;), the builders took the last of the milk, what is a man to do.
Earl grey it seems with a dash of lemon anyone?

Fnarr, fnarr! Pffft! He's probably only about 20 miles from where I am at work. Wouldn't mind something chocolaty and munchable TBH. I may have to go shopping soon. There's a not-bad cakeshop about a 5 minute walk away, which is a bit close for comfort.;)

To tdr1nka: Glad you're not seriously mangled!
*refrains from typing out all the (very) rude words currently filling my mind*
*Seethes...*

Doc (and anyone else interested in my humdrum life!), the work team's all off up to Garforth (near Dirty Leeds) for a training course next week. Looks slightly too far for me to cycle it ;) but at least it'll get me out of the office, and there's lunch provided! ;):tongue:

Any of those "brownies" left?

My beverage of choice!;) No lemon thanks, it's citric enough as it is.
Have a brownie before Landslide finishes them off.

Landslide and everyone, thank you for the kind words.
I've tried to locate a number for the Virginmeida logistics Dept. but TBH I cannot be ars*d to chase it up. Can't handle phoning and being on hold in what I refer to as 'The cheeseless maze of Customer Services'.
Luckily have an appointment with my shrink this afternoon, so I can work thru it there.

One last brownie for Landslide, they're a bit crunchy outside but still soft in the middle, D-lish!

More Tea?

*Contended belch*

Oops, pardon me!

If you don't fancy dealing with Virginontheridiculous, why not let the Police chase it up?

Most unfortunately time dictates today and I would have to go to 'The Death Star' which is Lewisham's HUGE centralised Police Station.

*With infinate wisdom they closed around 8 local stations to make the one big station where most of the PC's & Officers don't have a working knowledge of the outer laying roads they are supposed to be protecting.*

Forgive my doom and gloom but considering neither Ms tdr1nka or I were hurt and we were able to get straight back on and still get to school on time, I'm happy to leave it there. For today. OK I've just read your posts, I'll take it to Plod.

From the way the guy was driving he certainly knows and uses these roads as a rat run and although I don't have the School run tomorrow I am going to be taking the exact same route at the same time tomorrow so if I see this guy again I can get the details proper like.

We could organise a mass Tea? ride down that way at some point;). Just for fun, you understand.;)
*digs out hammer, cordless drill with wire brush attachment, tin snips, baseball bat etc:angry:*

Good news is I have managed to polietly worry the Virgin careers dept. into giving me the number of the UK networks transport manager! I have left a brief, informative and somewhat curt message. I await the call.

It's the bit about having to be composed and firm on the phone that I have a great many problems with.

I will also go to the Death Star with what ever info I get from Vogon.

Tx

It is a bad road, it starts with a blind 90º left turn, parked cars on both curbs and then 200yds along it drops. Quiet-ish, residential, parked up end to end and two way it is so tightly packed that if there is a dust cart doing the rounds no one can down it!
Often you get a car behind and an on coming car that has right of way as it is coming up the hill and all hell breaks loose.

Gonna look into an alternative route now.........
