I was heartened to see you trying out the 'bent in Norfolk Doc'.
Must admit I've never tried one, and I feel somewhat uneasy about the whole above seat steering thing?

Ta for the bizkitz I'll pop the kettle on...

In my limited experience the difference between uss and oss (under and over seat steering) isn't that important - it's the geometry and wheelbase that affect handling more I think. That one the Doc is trying looks to me to be a rather more twitchy one than some.

Dentists? Bah. And I warn you Doc, nagging is a very good way to get me to dig my heels in.;)

Hard Core Sportive? That sounds unnecessarily strenuous! I might manage to drive up to the top with a flask of tea and some biscuits for you, if you like?

I wondered if the pedal boom was too short for the Doc' he looked like his knees were going to jam under the ASS.

I do like trikes, far less twitchy!

It was a bit iffy, certainly:ohmy:

I wasn't ever going to mention it again.

Oxygen tent and a blood transfusion might be nearer the mark. I'm still very unsure about the whole idea. I probably don't need to decide till July 2nd or so. Lets see how I get on up Ventoux. I'm still nervous about that, TBH.

Nervous, I'm not bloody surprised!

Tho come to think of it if Arch & I took our trikes up in a van we could meet for lunch and join you for the run down the other side!

Hang on, that's not St Ephanage is it?

Time for a late cuppa I think. The physio on Monday was optimistic about a good recovery given time. However, she was not happy about my idea of a short walk being three miles.

I will see her again on Thursday, and next week. Swimming tomorrow.
Moving about is getting easier.

I should not have any biskits, because all this inactivity is having a serious effect on the waist line.:biggrin::sad:

Have some tea, Speicher. I think I may have overdone it spinning this evening - I'm absolutely cream-crackered. Nattering to my mate on Skype till 1 am may have had something to do with it too...

Take it easy Speicher, don't forget you want to be ship shape for the summer, don't push yourself too hard.

Early night beckons @ the towers, we is all still a tad sniffly and needs our beauty sleep too.

No thanks, I'm off to bed. Feeling more in need of beauty sleep than usual.

See you in the morning.

Any tea left? then off to watch Paris Nice on Sky:smile:.

I do not think that there are any ships (converted Steam boats) or otherwise on the holiday I am planning in Slovenia.

I personally do not want to be the shape of a ship.:sad:
Please pass the Port!

Any chance of a cuppa?

Just in from the student bar pub quiz.

Came 4th. If only we knew what the company that owned the Titanic was we would've won some Hong Kong Phooey T shirts.

Kettles on!

Got a very pleasant surprise on Saturday. My mates BF came round to get some stuff, saw my partly built new frame and made me a gift. Of a lightly-used compact Ultegra groupset from his old Madone:becool::smile::biggrin:. I was (nearly) speechless:ohmy:.
I was planning to get some Campag goodness on it at some point - I've never had Campag. I might leave that for a bit though.

It was White Star line, although that's maybe a little late.
As is the tea, I suppose.

Waffles! Is that throat still a bit sore?
*concerned*

Lemon and honey, or would you prefer something more medicinal?
Let me poke the fire up a bit
