Special offer on Ginger cake today at the local shop. I shall save it for later this evening.

Arch, I was intrigued to learn how you got your signature line. I sometimes try to think of ways in which my cat is useful. Sometimes he pretends he is an ornament by sitting on shelves (if there is room bearing in mind his wide posterior, and if there is not room he pushes things off). At Christmas time he disguises himself as a lump of snow, by sleeping under the tree.

I think we may need to start a 'bring your own cup/mug policy'.
Oh, and a bring your own chair.

My favourite pitch at any festival is the Tiny Tea Tent, you buy your first cup of tea and pay a £1 deposit on the mug. I still have the same mug from years ago and take it with me whenever I know they will be there.

Now that there seems to be no danger of a mass invasion, I can get the Jamaican Ginger Cake out of the locked cupboard. It goes excellently well with Tea.

Two men have been to see me today.

About fixing the stair case.

What steps do I need to take to ensure I make their tea correctly?

Speicher, go with the usual builders tea methinks but be prepared for a deviation from the norm.
This will depend on whether these men were burly 'chippies' talking about double strings, or were they sensitive carpenters tutting at existing nuel posts?

More of a sensitive carpenter talking about wood and risers.

Very late now, good night. BTW you really should edit your post about tea b*gs before LOTP sees it tomorrow.

BTW I got 26,876 tea bags ready for tonights rush, where shall I put them?

Is that one for each of 26,875 people, and one for the pot?

Mmm, ginger cake. Esp good with tea, but the tea needs to be nice and hot I think - so you get the heat from the ginger, and the heat pf the tea... My Dad used to make a very good ginger cake - not too moist. I find some shop ginger cake a bit gooey for my taste.

Cream cakes on the other hand, they can be as gooey as you like! Any left?

I'll put the kettle on...
