I am going for a pootle/tootle around Broadway this afternoon. To make the most of my car  miles, I shall be dropping off some recycling on The Way, picking up some hinges and stuff from Somewhere Else, and popping into Whatsits on My Way Back. The villages round here have some funny names! Not sure if I need to visit Wyre Piddle while I am out.

You're not coming unhinged are you?

It isn't morning any more . What time did you go to bed this morning?
Would you like toast with your tea? I have some proper multi/wholegrain bread with proper butter. xx(

Thanks.

Proper Butter.

No, not quite. Some kitchen cupboard door hinges installed ten years ago, are on the wobbly side. (I could see if they have some lubricant for creaky joints.) They don't make things to last do they? Broadway is nice for a potter around because it is flat.

The plumber was here this morning helping to flush properly :blush::angry:. Next week, I will be getting plastered again. xx(

Blerghle, I appear to have picked up Ms. tdr1nka's ikky tummy malady from last weekendxx(.

So far so good, I am not tied to the toilet as yet but we're taking my Youth group to camp for the weekend, tonight, so we'll see how I fare:rolleyes::ohmy:xx(.

The weather is p*ss poor and appalling here in the South, thankfully the kids are in bunk houses and not tents!!

Tea anyone? Mine's a v.weak black tea today:eek:.

Are those cupboard hinges the big silver sprung ones?
Chances are they'll just need tightening.

No, do it now! live for the moment, and all that.

Oh - you're talking about getting stuff on the walls, aren't you? Not what I was thinking of at all. And tdr1nka's right - the hinges may just need tightening. The ones in out kitchen go a bit loose and wobbly every so often.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of you!

Is you in 'Pub Mode' then? Everyone here went pubward for lunch and left me minding the fort, the gits. And they didn't bring me a pint back. Still, it's not like I've done much work all week ever today.
Tea?

They are big silver sprung ones, but the spring had sprunged, just on one hinge. They are available in pairs from where I got the kitchen about ten years ago. They are a special shape, allegedly, so I asked for two pairs, collected them today - no charge.
