It would've been cold. Unless you are an extremely fast cyclist

Oh, I ****in' wish!

The 20k round trip took 1hr 30min, which for me is stoopidly slow until you take into account I am riding on South London Roads, traffic lights every 200 yards, busses pulling out, road works and roundabouts. Oh yeah and bloody cars everywhere! Grrr.

Who left me half a cup of cold tea then?:blush:

Have a hot one then!

Just got in from the spinning class. On one of the hill-climby bits (where you put lots and lots of resistance on) the instructor told us to add another two clicks.
And I shouted back "I can't - I've run out!"

I've never been so proud.

Not bad but not great either.
They have decided not to operate as the risk is too high because of his age and chemo is not an option due to his kidneys being to weak also because of age.
So they will be doing 6 weeks of radiotherapy at barts and they seem fairly confident this will be effective against the problem.
Thing went better than expected the doctors seem hopeful thankfully.

That sounds a little more promising for your Grandad tho, a lot less jigging him around, general anasthetics etc.

And how's your mush doin after the paint stripper?

It occurs to me that spin classes with dynamos would be an excellent source of power for the community. Imagine the instructor telling you to
go up two clicks @ 19:30 to add to the grid when E*st*nd*rs comes on!!
