Oh, and you know I said to expect rain when I went out on the bike yesterday? Well, I had a head wind all the way out, and rain some of the way back!

[Terry Thomas]

Oh dear, let me help you out of those wet clothes...

[/Terry Thomas]

(With apologies to Waffly...)

Tea anyone?

Good afternoon to you all.
Can I have a cup of tea please?
Also TheDoctor says that there is a pic of him looking soppy somewhere in this thread. Could somebody be so kind as to tell me the post number to save me looking through thousands of posts and wasting any more of w*rks time?
Ta! x

It's a lovely picture that, ahhhh.

Just got in from a gritty 20 mile round trip thru London and carefully managed to miss the 10 mins of torrential sleet by hiding in Kings Cross buying my ticket and booking my bike onboard for traveling tomorrow!!

I MUST HAVE TEA!!

20 miles? In one city? Blimey.

TY Landslide!

It was a round trip, just doing a drop for a friend.

Still it felt like 40 to be honest! If only I lived near somewhere I could do that mileage but without all the traffic lights, busses, taxi's, lemming peds, I'd be delighted, probably cycle further and do it in reasonable time too.[gritted teeth smiley]

BM, I'd kneel before you but my knees are a bit stiff after that run.
Forgive me.:smile::wacko::biggrin:

I'd love to have job that gave me that kind of commute TBH, I am only a piddly distance cyclist for the most part. My longest commute was only ever about 7 miles either way.

Except that I don't do it 5 days a week, and you do slightly more mileage than I did last year.

Pah, my round trip commute is 42 miles. Greater London, too, if you count inside the M25.

*scribbles furiously and prods calculator*

I've never seen your nuts before, BM. May I say they are a lovely shade of ginger and nicely spiced to nibble upon.
