Speicher - me on the stairs? I'm not remembering this photo.

I do not know how to do quotes from one thread to another, so if you do an Advanced Search for a thread called "Pictures of yourself" and look at page one. It was posted by Aperitif not Chuffy.

NB please be very careful if you go to the end of that thread.:biggrin:

You had me confused too! I have many pictures, not all of them fit for human consumption. None of them feature Mr Longers.

Really? I not have heard of this, but now I think about Ice cream shops they have the scoop in a container of water which is probably not hot. This is from where I is assuming the fact.

Is hot water so bad? I think it's summink to do with that whole hot water freezes quicker than cold water thingamybob. Thermodynamics, that's the b*gger!

Speicher - me on the stairs? I'm not remembering this photo.

Ok, so we need Landslide with his pick axe, I am sure he will have one in his pocket.
No, he's just pleased to see you. Somebody had to say it...

Spikes, re the impenetrable ice-cream. May I suggest you hold the tub between your ladylike manifestations for a few chilly moment. It should then slide out nice and easily.

I do not have an electric carving knife. I do have some exceedingly sharp knives, with straight blades or serrated edges. Perhaps I should slide it out gently and then chop the end off.:biggrin:
The ice cream of course.

Do I smell of paint? I am sure it will fade over the weekend. I have got most of the windows open, but have to watch out when it starts to rain (again).

Did anyone else see on the news about a man who took advantage of his Free bus Pass to travel from Lands End to John o' Groats. Apparently, when he did his packing, he realised he had packed too much. So he took out some shirts and socks etc, but kept his teacup and saucer. He said he could not bear to drink tea out of plastic or paper cups. So he had his tea cup and saucer tied to the top of his suitcase on wheels. ;) I think I would have left the saucer behind.

I saw that, and thought LOTTP would approve. Unless, perhaps, that WAS LOTTP?;)

I think I would have brought an enamel mug along instead - less breakable. Or one of those thermos plastic ones.

Oh, and you know I said to expect rain when I went out on the bike yesterday? Well, I had a head wind all the way out, and rain some of the way back!
