I am going out shortly. Looks like I need to stock up on Mars Bars. I think I will be able to get about lots and lots in the boot of my car. But someone will need to help me to get them unloaded.

Tdr1nka, you could let the penguins in the water if you wish. Just make sure that they do not puncture the inflatable bicycle with their beaks.

AHhhgh.
Note to self abandon soap box forever.
Tea?

Yes it can get very rough in there. Much preferentialness that you join us for tea and general mirth and merriment. Chocolate suggestive anyone?

BTW I brought loads of Mars Bars back with me, and my next door neighbour said he would help me get them out of the boot. He is a rugby player, and has scrum pfed the lot!:biggrin: He is also a plumber and has now showered the garden with all the wrappers.

Good idea, do not waste any further energy on that discussion.

I am sure you have much more fun or constructive things to do.
Like sit in the sunshine, or planning your studying or drinking tea, or even all three at once if you are feeling adventurous!:biggrin:

Had my soapbox fill now.
Just did some fettling bit more front brake now.
Is it normal for your brakes to feel a bit spongy after lots of downhills when you finish?
Seems with mine I have to keep pulling the adjuster up a bit after a long day.
And every now and then pull the cable back through and start again.
Calipers give me the fear on long downhills just don't have the stopping power that I had with V brakes.
I dread trying it with any weight on the bike.
Had a moment in the Cotswolds were the road was so bad, I had to brake most of the way down the hill.
Got to the bottom and thought. I wonder how hot the rims are Ill just touch them and see.
Ow.

Miloat, are you tightening the cables up enough? Are they new cables?
Cables do stretch over time, maybe you need to set your brakes a bit harder so you're not having to pull the levers in so far?

Well the bikes less than 6 months old so I just assumed it was stretch too pulled the cable tight just now. So I've got the adjuster all the way down now.
Thinking of some new brake pads but cant figure out what ones I need.
The brake pads seem to be held to the block with a tiny alan bolt.
