oh goodie, lots of biskits left for me.

I have asked Arnold if he would kindly supply extra fluffy towels, spare dry socks, and a hair drier for the extremely wettly wet peeps returning from Nottingham later. And a mop, for when they drippity drippity drip all over the floor. And turned up the heating, and brought various soupy comestibles. And some whiskey (and hot lemon and honey). Is there any thing else we might need.;)

I do not think that Arnold's skills stretch to suppliing spare underwear, perhaps Waffleycat might help out on that.

Now that depends upon what kind of underwear we're talking about

In the meantime, I've just stuffed a chicken in the oven (no, not Anode or Cathode, but a free-range roasting bird). I've stuffed its bum with a fresh lemon, copious quantities of fresh garlic and thymes picked from the garden. It'll be ready in a couple of hours to have with a salad & a glass or two of some sort of fermented juice of grape.

Whereas others in this world only have dry bread and hard processed cheese to look forward to. What's more, the bread crumbles when you try to spread the butter on it (unless you remember to take said butter from fridge two hours in advance). Sometimes life just doesn't seem fair .......

If I hear the peeps returning from Nottingham, I think I shall jump into the swimming pool so I can be as wet as they are, and share all the fun in getting dry again.:ohmy:

There is an inflatable bicycle in the swimming pool! But I will need to take tdr1nka's penguins out first.

How do you get penquins dry - take the wrappers off.

TEA PLEASE!!

Just back from camp, the days were gloriously hot & sunny and the nights were torrential downpours, thankfully out of twenty or so tents only a couple of them leaked!

Still everything is damp and now on the radiators giving tdr1nka towers the air of the tropical green houses @ Kew!

The kids had a wonderful time nonetheless and are all exhausted!

Oh and Ms tdr1nka managed not to vomit once! Hurrah!!

Evening all!
Just got in from a hard day on the golf course (working, not playing - but playing isn't that easy either!).

A nice cuppa English breakfast (down to my last five Tetleys I brought with me from England, but have some ok-ish Swedish 'English tea bags').

I'll be having a couple of these with my tea; 2nd picture down on the right:

Thick Lefse looks very nice, do you bake it yourself?
