Night Train

Maker of Things
Had a great but windy day today at the Get Cycling show. Met Doctor, Arch, Longers, Joe 24, Mickle, Spandex and some others I can't remember the names of.
I spent most of the day with the family bikes, which was so rewarding, and some time with the KMXs which was a lot of fun.

I had to leave part way through tidy up time at the end as I was shattered and my sugar levels were low. I had to have a sleep when I got to the M6 services.

Got a cup of Earl Grey and soon to bed.

Evenings!
Just got back from the Nottingham show by a somewhat roundabout route. I had a thoroughly excellent time, but yesterday was a bit wet (like towed-behind-a-speedboat wet) and today was very windy. I'm not sure how I managed to miss meeting Joe24, as he met Arch on Saturday and I was on the same track as her virtually all day...
I felt sorry for Longers, as he was camping. It was cold enough on Sunday without sleeping under canvas...
I did however manage to go on some two-wheeled recumbents without scaring myself stupid. And massive fun on some KMXs:becool:. In fact, I've ridden more bikes in the last 48 hours than I'd managed to ride in the preceding 40-odd years, I suspect. And I managed to get a couple of trikes up on two wheels.
Ermm, don't try this at home. Very dangerous, not big, not clever.
Thanks to Mickle and Spandex for the invite and general all round excellence, and to Arch, Night Train and Longers for the good company.

May I have a cup please? Ta!

I'm working up some enthusiasm to get out on the bike when it's dry, as my summer cold bug is *almost* gone. Hurrah! I shall be taking a route to avoid any Oddies lurking in the Norfolk countryside..

Thanks, Doc. I do, but it's horribly wet and cold at the moment and I don't want to reignite this bug. I can't tomorrow as I'm collecting the offspring from university (and calling in to Shooter's excellent choccie emporium as I'm in Norwich to collect some choccie mice, eggs, a cat & a hen, as Father's Day pressies for Mr Wafflycat from the felines & the feathered objects). So I may wait until Thursday
