I'm sticking to my eiswein. No wasps involved in the production, just grapes.
Frozen mouldy grapes.

Don't. Just don't. That episode of Doctor Who with the 8 foot high wasp in it, I was very nearly behind the sofa. Really, I was. I feckin' hate wasps. Stripey agressive buzzing bar stewards!

I've made a point of not inspecting fresh figs too carefully before eating and feeling the crunch of the seeds between my teeth.

I've gone off escargot though. I used to really like them until one day, while eating some, I made the mistake of imagining garden snails that have been trod on.

I once tried a snail. It was like a garlic bogey. Only chewier.

the low alcohol stuff is eisberg, and it's an abomination.
Eiswien - let the overripe and botritis affected grapes freeze, so when you press them most of the water stays behind, then ferment the syrupy juice. You get a wine that's quite acidic, very sweet and utterly delish. It's a balancing act between acid and sugar, with about 8% aclohol. Hic. 'Slovely, tis.
