No cheese, probably a stress symptom of taking two girls clothes shopping in Manchester yesterday.

I sympathise. Taking two girls clothes shopping would have me stressed - and I'm a girlie (well, an old one)

Morning all!

Up, fed hens, cleaned out hen house, collected newly laid egg from Cathode. Fed cats. Fed husband. Done dishes (got more to do) about to set to on the laundry...

I can sympathise with you finding that very stressful. The clothes shops tend to have very bright lighting, loud music, and lots of people. And not many assistants if you are trying to find something in a particular size. Taking two girls shopping would be near impossible for me to do.

I have had to stop taking my mother shopping. Fortunately, she has excellent neighbours, and one of them takes her shopping for clothes etc perhaps once a month. She is familiar with which shops suit a nearly 90 year old female, ie tops that cover one's tummy, and trousers that fit, and can help her with which colours suits her, far better than I can. That particular neighbour deserves a medal.

We have two very "up-market" charity shops here. They very kindly arrange the clothes by size.:biggrin: They seem to get a lot of "brand new" items as well.
