What makes it worse is that I'm here in Finland so it's not a good start and makes me look like an idiot as I have to explain this and apologise to so many people.:smile:!

Now I come to think of it, I've ridden her upright too. Recumbent is more comfortable...
*snigger*

Excuse me!

<slap>

I dunno, a few days offline and my name appears to be taken in vain all over the place!

You remember how I got soaked on Friday at work? I got soaked all over again on Saturday on the Hull-Hornsea forum ride. There are wet shoes all over the flat.

CM, I hope you get sorted out quickly. I came in to day to find the Uni seem to have mixed up my 'extension of deadline for submission' with my previously applied for 'suspension of registration' (like, from over a year ago), and seem to be trying to arrange the wrong thing... <sigh> It'll get sorted out, and it's not like missing money, but I know how you feel.... If all else fails, we'll club together and send you a flask of tea and biskits...

Meanwhile... Here's my 'new' bike, the one that lives at DoctorTowers.

Saddles a bit high for me in that photo, since The Doctor had been riding it. Yes, how gooey is that, with a little saddle adjustment, we fit each other's bikes...

Landers, are you turning into Bonj?
I know it's an irrational dislike, I really do!
Plus at least 2 of my bikes have mudguards at the mo!

Sorry Arch.
Anyway, the Doc started it!

Nice bike for sharing

I'm no closer to biking with M, or swimming. I think walking is about it for her.

It's tea time isn't it?

I'll put the kettle on.

M might come round to cycling, give it time. And even if not, walking is nice... Just imagine sunshine, blossom on trees, her in a floaty dress, and all filmed in a 70's fuzzy-focus-at-the-edge styl-ee.

I was at the Pumphouse Environment Centre last Friday. Two ladies are taking Maternity leave later this year, they will both be away for up to seven months. Instead of getting a Temporary Manager, and Temporary Park Warden, they are planning to temporarily promote the people further down the line, as it were. The upshot of this is that I have been asked if I would like to consider a post as Casual member of staff, to help the Co-ordinator, as she "acts up" as it were. This would be part-time and temporary, but excellent as a way back into paid employment.
