Yup, simple vermin, standard 'Jazz Rat'.
There are loads in the park behind the house and are brazen enough to come into the kitchen if the back door is open.
Methinks this one had tried to use the cat flap and met Meep on the inside.:rofl:

Theres been no sign of a struggle, no spent cartridges or decernable foot prints. At a guess the victim was between 1-2 years old.

We will be dusting the area shortly as well as washing the walls down and hoovering, well, the place needs it!;)

Nothing like a good homicide to put me in the mood for a spring clean!:becool:

It was windy coming into work today, I'm hoping the wind stays the same for a speedy return home!

Doc, no need for a sheffield stand you get a scaffolding pole and wind it round something (like and old telegraph pole) to make one of those spring like stands we saw in Annecy.

How you wind a scaffolding pole round a telegraph pole, I'll leave you to work out. I expect you'd need access to some really hefty hydraulic jacks or something...
