Evenings!
On the train back from Northern parts. I have been partaking of vast amounts of hardcore Tea? and coping with harsh climatic conditions.
Handy Hint
Never ever cycle to Lindesfarne on a windy day. It took about a milliion years to cycle across the causeway.
Only a slight exaggeration...
I did enjoy munching on some Border Tart though

I was beginning to wonder how many days leave you could take!

I was once at Lindisfarne in August in shorts, as it were, and they wanted to see the tide come in. That seeeeemmmmmmeeed dd dddd to take a million years as well, or was it because shorts in Thumberland are not a good idea?

Border Tart, is it customary to try that?

Tea?

Hello Doc, I was wondering what you'd been up to.

Mr Dr1nka - you stand accused of passing your lurgi to me by means of electronic transference. My glands are all swollen and my throat hurts. If I don't get a day on the sofa stroking the cat I shall be sorely disappointed...

No tea thanks, I have some hot chocolate. Tis nearly bedtime at DoctorTowers.
Border Tart is a fruity little number, and a bit nutty too.
Line a pie dish with pastry, and fill it with a mix of dried fruit, chopped nuts, butter and sugar, bound together with egg. Bake, and ice with a lemony icing. It's good.

Morning all! Up, at it! Dishwasher running, cats fed, hens still asleep, husband still asleep... me awake & about to have my first mug of TEA of the day. Today is an important day - I take MrW back to horse spittle and the quacks decide whether or not an operation is required. Yesterday I had to call out the water board to unblock the drain... again... this is getting silly.
