Barnet,
Good morning, just popped my head around around the door to see if the kettle is on, and there's no one there. I will make myself a brew and eat there lovely Jamie Dodgers I have brought in.

It was lovely to see you yesterday. There's nothing better than catching up over tea and yummy chocolate cake:tongue:. You must post pictures of the knitted Noah's ark once it's finished. I'm mightily impressed!

Lovely to meet up with you too! I have had a Noah's Ark setback, the cheap haberdashery is out of stuffing! I will have malnourished giraffes at this rate. They hope to get another order on Thursday, so I will try at the weekend, and if not, I'll have to try Duttons, but I bet they will be more expensive...

Blimey, it sounds like it's not been a great weekend for AFS and milo. What happened to you AngelfisH? (or is there a thread about it?)

Tea? anyone?

Is that a character in Oliver Twist who takes up cookery?

I thought Jamie Dodgers were those who ignore celebrity chef advice and subsist on 'Turkey Twizzlers' and chips alone?

More tea?

Yes please!

Do you know, I've never had a Turkey Twizzler? Probably a good thing.

Me neither! They sound vile IMO.

*hands tea to Arch*

My feet are freezing after my ride today, go to look into wind proof socks now:eek:!!

Or double check the direction of blowage by consulting a fabric cone - the wind sock proof....

Put plastic bags on your feet. That will keep out the wind (or was that a trick for the rain ).

Any Tea going? I'm gasping.

*sigh* I was waiting for that!

I have found I might need to insulate inside my shoes, I think I've got drafty cleats!
Two pairs of thermal socks and I'm still getting chilly toes.

Drafty Cleats sounds like a character in a play. When TheDoc and I were in France we went through a place that translated as Minty St Bernard, and then saw a shop window full of animals carved in semi-precious stone that included a Jasper Rhino. We thought they'd make a great crime fighting duo. Maybe Drafty Cleats could be their underworld nemesis...

The old plastic bag trick! I've tried this but my feet get all sweaty n' nasty.:smile:

I must get me some serious socks.

Just seen the kind of socks I need and they're £20 a pair!!!

Cheers tdr1nka

£20 quid a pair. I'm hoping to get a pair of shoes for that . If I paid that for socks I'd want them to wash and massage my feet for me
