My 10 year old of preference!

I'm unsure as to whether I should be smug:thumbsup: or concerned:wacko: about it, but I was watching "Spooks" this evening and when the Home Secretary had to order the evacuation of the Government and the Royal Family he said, "I'm invoking the Landslide Protocol"

Home and drinking Earl Grey. I have an extra class to take tomorrow. Not really in the mood for it but the money will be useful.

Feeling quite fed up at the moment but trying not to be.

Anyone for a hot cup of Joulutee?

We've had almost a foot of snow since yesterday afternoon. Looks very pretty outside. Can't imagine people in the UK dealing with this as well as the Finns do. Two flakes of snow and the country seizes.

Brits can't deal with themselves, let alone having to deal with the Finns, as well! ;)

How was your hangover? :wacko::biggrin:

Not too bad a hangover.

I had lots to eat so it soaked up the Finnish Xmas drink which I can't spell ;) but I'm sure you know what I mean.

What did you think of this series of Spooks?
It's been a good bit of fun hasn't it? I've particularly enjoyed Harry's nasty (read: lethal) side!;)
Plus there's been cheers from our sofa every time Jo casually smacks some miscreant in the gob, all the time wearing her best "butter wouldn't melt" expression.
Although I must admit last night's episode was mildly worrysome given that I had to be on a train to London this morning...

Not maybe as sharp as previous series but still enjoyable. I enjoyed the play between Harry and his Russian Oppos, Kachimov was great but the new guy looks like he could be very nasty. Be interesting to see who joins D Section in the new series.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to add some Cointreau to that hot chocolate.
Not a good start I know, but what with the flu and the weather...

btw, I'm an old newbie. Just made the jump from motorsport to bikes and got a few questions, so will have to figure out where to ask them in due course !

After a week of grey in Stockholm, I'm heading for the slightly less grey of southern England for three weeks, before heading back for some white stuff in Stockholm and Oslo, before heading to Gran Canaria in Jan for a week of golf greenkeepers' conference!

Then planning some cycling near Valencia hopefully in Jan/Feb.

Have you got your own snow plough machine/driver?
