I've just done another day recycling. Not bad, and we saw a smirk-making sight up by the University. A BT Landrover, towing a cable drum on a trailer, had somehow driven into a ditch, and was lying 45 degrees sideways, two wheels down in the ditch, two wheels up in the air, grounded on it's belly along the edge of the ditch, with two blokes standing beside it with rather woeful expressions on their faces. No amount of 4 wheel drive is going to work when you've only got two wheels on the ground....
Mind you, it's uphill just there and we were getting low on charge, so we steamed past at a stately 5 mph or so....
But one of the nice old ladies on the morning round had left us a Christmas box of Roses to share out.
