I have a tendency to notice things that other people do not notice.
LOTP has been absent recently (yes, I know you noticed that) but did you know that someone called "Cup of Tea" is a member of this forum? And has been present recently? Cup of tea's avatar is a tea b*g being dunked in a mug. Could this be LOTP's twin brother or his alter ego?

Hmmmm, tea baggy avatar is a bad sign. Not met this member yet.

Taking the biscuit
I do be baggy and make no mistake!
Like mickle, I often appear to be comprised mainly of tea

I'm now off to a local council meeting and will be without tea for a few hours. Shaking already.

When I had very bad tooth ache once (from an abcess) someone suggested the following. Put two face flannels in water, wring them out a bit, but not too much. Then fold them in approx four and bend them slightly in a right angle. Then you put them in the freezer. Once frozen, you can use them as a sort of mini ice pack to relieve the pain and swelling. Avoid freezing your face too much tho'. Do it with two flannels, then when the first one defrosts, you can put that in the freezer, and use the other one, etc etc. You might find you need to wrap the frozen one in another flannel at first. You can experiment with the shape of the frozen flannel according to where the pain is.

Time for another cup of tea. I need to recover after venturing into "soapbox" perhaps it should be renamed, but the nearest I can think of is not a word suitable for mention in the friendly and (usually) relaxed atmosphere in here.

It can get a bit steamy in here, but only when both the kettles, and the toaster are in use at the same time.
