As this is turning rapidly into a mutualitea appreciation society, I will try and find a photo of me. Most of my recent holidays have involved being outdoors a lot, so the windswept look is quite usual.

Well, I think that's a good thing. While banter and flirting are very good in their way (and I should perhaps take much of the blame for that!) there's a serious side to this stuff too. It's nice to have a natter that doesn't descend into innuendo within 5 microseconds. And it's also good to talk about, oh, I don't know, the real stuff, the emotional things that can be difficult . And because this isn't quite real time, you can stop and think about what you're saying, and thinking, and feeling. There does seem to be a general good feeling on this forum, and in this thread. Jeez, there was even a Bonj love-in the other day, bless him.

Ahem. The windswept look is good. I put my photo up because it wasn't posed or artificial at all. it's really how I was feeling at the time. Oh dear, I'm going all gooey again.

I am observing an increasement in the editting of your posts, on the basis that you forgot to add something. This seems a relatively new peno phenum phenomenum. Is there any of that white wine left?

Well, in the nicest possible way, I thought there was a similarity. I think that Wafflycat is absolutely right, when she says it is because you both have such lovely and genuine smiles.

In both of them, as well as the smiling mouth, they are smiling with their eyes - that's the key to a genuine smile IMO.

Compare the smiles in the photos of Arch & The Doctor to say, whenever you see (I apologise in adance for the degeneration of this thread...) our hallowed leader, one G Brown and also that icon of shallow celebrity, Victoria Beckham. Neither of them smile with their eyes. Their smiles stop at the lips - the smile never extends to the cheeks and the eyes: utterly false smiles.

I'm sorry I've mentioned those two (hallowed leader & Mrs Stick Insect), I shall now go and thrash myself severely with a head of celery as atonement.

Indeed there is - let me top you up.
It's more that I post it, then think 'Oh, I forgot to add such and such.' I'm thinking more about each post, but typing just as quickly...
