On the upside, thanks to sharkeybloke, my baby elephant has an Easter bonnet *awwwwwwwwwwwwww*. And I have the great Tea?-and-cake-and-whipsnade get-together to look forward to!

Not long now Arch!

Tho I'm still a bit embarrassed by the the state of my bike, it looks like something I found in a hedge! Must get it to the jet wash, grease my bearings and give it some TLC before the meet up!

Top up?

Please! Just heading for lunch actually, so a tea is welcome.

Don't worry about your bike, if I get round to cleaning two years of road grime off mine it'll be a miracle! The trouble is the 'on-season' bike lives downstairs, 2 flights down, so I never get round to cleaning it, i just get on and go, and the 'off-season' one is in the flat, so to clean it I'd have to put a load of newspaper down.

*brainwave*

Or put it in the bath....

And I have to remember to swap my bells over. And bring Seamus. In his tweeds, I think. Really looking forward to it!

I already gave you a weather report milo.
Seriously, yes Weather Report, most famous track, 'Birdland' and they had the late great Jaco Pasturos(?) on bass! Good stuff!

If I had the sponds I'd clean my bike by stripping the frame right down, get it sand blasted and stove enamelled and then build it all back up starting with new bearings, cups & cones, casette, drive chain, etc.

Have resisted cleaning it until now as I sometimes think it's the road gak that's holding it all together.

Must remember to take an old toothbrush with me to the jet wash, for those hard to reach places!

Someone on the local "Freecycle" has said he would like decking.
I do not think I am the best person to go round and do that for him.

TBH, I've never really got into Ebay. Too tempting! And I have too much stuff as it is. I would sell some, but I'm not sure any of it would fetch more than 50p, it's all nick-nicks and stuff of sentimental value and second hand charity shop books.

Yes I do like e-bay. I collect foreign tins, ones in good condition with foreign scenes and names on them. I have acquired quite few very interesting ones recently. I used to collect them when on holiday, but due to the hand luggage restrictions, it is very difficult to buy them on holiday now. Also acquired some South American ones etc.

I have also decided to increase my collection of Cash's silk woven pictures, and have bought half a dozen in excellent condition. The amounts involved have been comparatively small. BTW how do I find my own "rating" on e-bay. I have also recycled lots of cardboard packaging and bubble wrap to people selling things on e-bay.
