In Copenhagen a couple of years back, with sister, her other half and Mum, we asked the girl at the hotel to recommend a cafe for a late breakfast. She directed us in the opposite direction to the one we'd gone in every other morning, and we ended up wandering along some streets with very interesting shops, well they would have been interesting if we hadn't been trying not to notice them or hope that Mum didn't notice them....

;)

Yes, Arch (and Chuffy) that's what they all say...

Ahem. Not sure how easy work will be for the rest of the day. Ho hum. Still, it's not as though they'll sack me. Shame, really, as I could do with a few weeks off.

Mums are far less innocent that you might care to think. That's how they end up as mums....

As a mum.... I can definitely shock my offspring. I can have him running from the room, covering his ears with his hands, as he screams, "No! No! There's some things a child should not be able to visualise parents doing!" Even when the child is an adult!;);)

When my sister's other half went through a motorbike phase, they were showing it off and sis said "mum, did you ever ride on a motorbike?" and Mum said "oh yes, back in the 60's I had a few boyfriends with bikes. I remember one evening, we were heading out to a pub in the New Forest and heard a bell behind us and it was a police car chasing us..."
"Mum!" said my sis, shocked.
"Oh, it was alright", said Mum. "we outran them!"

Just had a horrific mental image of my mum in *that* sort of shop, and now I need to boil my brain in bleach.

While in some ways I envy your son (and I lust after his bike in a most unhealthy fashion) I can't help but feel he must be traumatised occasionally. Don't ever show him this forum or he'll be in therapy for years...

Oh he's well & truly traumatised. He plays the crowd for the sympathy vote

He has my deepest sympathy, and some envy coming from my direction too. Take that anyway you like!

Anyway, I need some Earl Grey.
Brew anyone?
Still some chocolate suggestives left, I think.;)

Cheers awfully.

Sorry, but that thought could well have seen my heterosexuality gone for good. *shudders* And Captain Jack is a fictional character (or so I've been led to believe) so that would be me well and truly f*cked. Or not, presumably.;)

Exactly the same with my 17 year old daughter, who when staying during the holidays claimed to have been traumatised by noises from my bedroom.
I pointed that she was very lucky, we're usually much louder!

She has never broached the subject since?

Tea Up!
