Sympathy and best wishes to all involved.

Sorry about that, work intervened...

I agree, it doesn't sound good, but there's always hope, and he's getting the best care. If he, and you, keep in as good humour as possible, you'll get more out of whatever time you still have. Sometimes it's not about time, but what you get out of that time. Best wishes again.

Aw sorry to hear that Miloat. Like the Doc says, try and keep spirits up, and make the most of it. And we're all here any time you need to chat. PM if necessary...

I've just had my first cup of proper tea (if Poundland's pack of 100 Tetley Tea Bags counts as proper tea) for nearly two weeks; it was lovely!

I have my first commute to work tomorrow in Oslo. I have the choice of running parallel with the motorway for about 8km, or getting lost in a forest for about 5 km. I'll take the first option for tomorrow but on my MB, don't want to get the hybrid dirty yet.

If I ventured further west, adding twice the distance, I'd get a siting of the Oslo fjord and the beech! But I think I'll save that for the weekend when I'll have more time on my hands.

I'm gonna be a devil and have another cuppa, but I've only got another 99 left!:sad:

Dayvo,

I feel your pain.
*wonders how much it costs to post tea to Oslo*
If it's not gonna cost an arm and a leg, I'll post you some tea.
Is there anything nice in Oslo you could post here?
We could get some bartering going on:biggrin:

Following on from the deluge of puns earlier, (shame I had to go out and miss it all), the colour of carpet that I need to match the existing one in the halllway is called "Acorn". I kid you not. I had told the carpet man that the colour was a sort of nutty brown, and he brought some sample books with him. Never thought I would get the same colour.:sad:
