Attended a seminar (a posh word for a cushy day off work) today; the irrigation of golf courses!
Yep, really interesting! Water's only good for washing with, swimming in, drinking and brewing up for a cuppa!

Is there a bike meet-up soon, then?
When/where was that arranged?

The exertions continue. I went out today too. Shorter ride but worked harder as I stayed in a higher gear than normal and specifically did some of the local lumpier bits. Orf owt agane tomorrow.. I now have thighs of granite - just surrounded by a significant layer of blubber

Arranged a few hundred pages back - Arch, Tdrinka and I are meeting up at a local Tea establishment, going for a ride, getting some lunch somewhere and then going to Whipsnade to liberate have a look at the baby elephant. Which has probably got a bit bigger since I first saw it. I mean, with her sig line, and a baby elephant within reach, it'd be wrong not to...
Tdrinka has mates who live near me, and Arch is straight up the East Coast main line from me. Should all work OK.

I think it is just small meet-up, (I'm not going ) There is alledgedly an attempt to kidnap a baby elephant from a Zoo and put it on a bike trailer, and then go up a steep hill, to a Tea Establishment.

The Doctor has apparently calculated the angle of inclination of the hill, the friction of baby elephant feet on trailer, and the speed and dexterity achieved by Mummy Elephant when she realises what has happened, and he, The Doctor, has deduced that this is achievable.

Arch is going to house the baby elephant in her bath.
The danger lies in someone entering the Zoo, but not being allowed to leave.
