Just about to crack me a beer *SOUND FX : ringpull* and order some Indian stuff. I feel the need for tandoori chicken.

Still you missed all the action in here last night!

So I noticed. I missed Bonj and Chuffy *silent tear of regret*
Oh well, can't be helped. I'll catch up and get over the disappointment.

Dayvo, meant to ask, did you get home OK after getting lost the other morning?

tdr1nka!
I did indeed!
I wasn't unduly worried about the return leg, and cycling home I saw where I went wrong. I checked the map out at home and saw that I was miles out of my way!
And it starts all again tomorrow morning.
I'll leave in good time so I can have a leisurely shower and breakfast at work!

Yes, and I am still ME, not some Kennedy woman, who I have only vaguely heard of. Remind me how many posts you have, Bonj?;)

A damn sight more than you!

The China issue aside, this whole torch thing is a rather bizarre exercise.
To fly the flame from country to country the flame remains lit in a special lantern. Does it get it's own seat?

I understand all this just about as much as bonj appears to understand Tea?.
And that's another thing I don't understand about "Tea". - why is it "Tea?" as opposed to "Tea." i.e. if it's a thread about "Tea" the drink, why is "Tea?" a question??
Is it like the band "Therapy?"?, or "Jonatton Yeah?" out of Nathan Barley where he had the question mark added by deed poll?

Must own up: I snaffled the rich teas and the hob nobs to feed to the hedgehogs in my garden, and ate the discustard creams myself. Do not know who scoffed the rest!
WHAT rich teas??!?-? and hob nobs?

miloat treat it with water or alcohol and get checked out anyway.

as in, put alcohol ON it rather than get pissed to numb the pain. Although that might help.

'Tea?' as in 'do you fancy some...'

and yes, I do fancy some, (well some coffee incidentally, but same thing). And I'm just going to make some. But why is that anything to do with the thread? I understand that the thread is about idle chit chat and small talk, but why isn't it therefore called "The idle chit chat and small talk thread"? I also understand that I am now going to get my bacon out of the george formby and make myself some coffee, because i fancy it, but what that's got to do with the forum I'll never know.

It's a simple proposition, Tea?
Would you/anyone like a cup of tea?

I think you are missing the point of it being a 'virtual' tea room and some of the behaviours and comestibles are of course invented or imaginary.

Indeed. I share the concern re miloat.
Hi, BTW.

And Bonj, it's a simple enough concept. It's an invitation to drink virtual tea and have a natter, That's it. It's not rocket science.
It's capable of being understood by the most futile of inteligent life forms.
