Cheers matey, just got one but thanks anyhow.
I got a tin of those Danish shortbready things if anyone would like some? Well, half a tin, my colleagues have been at them already.

Er.......I haven't seen it yet guys.

Sorry! Although I don't think much has been given away in terms of cliffhanging suspense....

Someone put the torch out? You know, I'm actually pleased. I'm not a terribly political animal but there was something about yesterdays pantomine I took against...

I heard this morning that the Parisian plolice were going to include 30 police on roller blades! How cool (but apparently, ineffective) is that?

And yes, I agree with the Doc, without this thread I'd not bother to say half the meaningless stuff I do. I'll leave it to you lot to decide if that's good or bad...

Hi there Speicher! *huggle*

Well, I'm buggered if I know, TBH. I think Bonj has ...issues with the concept of a thread purporting to offer Tea, but which actually just offers a place for random natter and the sort of thing you probably wouldn't bother to start a thread on. I mean, we'd have a forum consisting of threads entitled 'Waffles fancies a quick flirt while the kettle's on' or 'TheDoctor is a bit bored at work' and so on.

I really hope that such a thread of the above nomenclature, would be a Very Short Thread, lasting only until Friday lunchtime this week perhaps.

Well, yes. Although it's actually next Friday - the 18th, rather than this one. I got the dates a bit mixed up.

I don't think I'll be posting at all from the new job, so I'll just be in at the evenings. It'll be a bit strange, not nattering with you all all day, but it can't be helped.

I don't think too much has been given away, in fact it's probably my own fault for not having a tv. Will watch it on the BBCi player tonight!

Arch it appears that the Olympic torch was put out by the Olympic security team and put on a bus again for it's own safety.

More tea anyone?

A bloke with 5 bikes and no TV? Tdr1nka, I love you and I want to have your babies.

Congratulations on not being part of the consumerist treadmill!

I got the impression that he did not read properly read what I said.
I think he ended up agreeing with me that he did not have the capability to understand the concept, however relatively simple the concept.

I shall now go downstairs and find some suitably glossy paint.

It is only fair to say you will be like a winner of a Willy Wonker Golden Ticket when you get to Astrium, bright eyed and bushy tailed, etc. And who can blame you! I can imagine the new carbon beast will have to take second place too!

Damn, Mrs. tdr1nka has spotted oil on the carpet from where I added new links to my trike chain(it's a pig of a job BTW), now I have to scrub the carpet with washing liquid and a toothbrush!

Aw, did they give it a quid and tell it to go and get itself a bag of chips? (or frites, I guess...)

I've noticed that nearly all the people involved yesterday are coming out with the "well, it's a good thing that we live in a country where people CAN protest" line. Almost like they were scripted...
