Cold & smitten with pathetic attempts at snow.

Dr Who was great. I thought the little fattie children were really cute, and I want one. I was expecting people to go "ah cute" and lose a finger or two (maybe even a whole hand) when they then went down to pat them, so was a bit disappointed. On the whole a nice light hearted episode even though the bf thought it was rubbish and went off halfway through to do something allegedlly more interesting.

What, like sort your gears out?;)

Dunno if it was because he really did think it was rubbish or just got fed up of me drooling over David Tennant ;)

This does seem to be a common theme on here, drooling over DT. Maybe I need to get one of my old avatars back. Then we'd have Arch and you squabbling over which one was best;). Maybe not...

Careful of the cupboard Renard, the Doctor may have locked Bonj in there.

Sshhh - I wasn't wanting everyone to know.;) He's tied and gagged with some things I found *ahem* somewhere in Norfolk. Wast of good bondage gear and ball gags, but anyway.

Bit harsh on the womble if you ask me.

Tea's up! ;)

Yay! I have a large mug of Earl Grey here, and I've just *scrompf* finished my banananana.

Ah, you too?;)

tdr1nka, love the vest. I thought of getting one of those, and putting a comma after the word 'pass'...

BTW, I passed the cupboard on the way in and the lock seems to have been busted from inside and there were a load of industrial size cable ties lying on the floor. I think bonj may be loose...

Ohh, so that's where leftover flapjack goes...;)
Glad the swim went OK yesterday. I've got the spinning class tonight. I can't say I enjoy them as such - the music is terrible - but they are quite good for finding out how much effort you can sustain for an hour without blowing up. If I can tolerate a spin class for an hour for 12 weeks on the trot Mont Ventoux should be a doddle:biggrin:. Except it won't be...

tdr1nka

Taking the biscuit
'scuse my h'ignorance 'n all that but what is spinning:blush:?

Hands out tea to go with flapjacks.

Morning all.

Spinning.. Imagine, if you will, a fixie up on blocks so it doesn't go anywhere, and a calibrated brake for applying resistance. Stick it in a gym, add loud music and a shouty instructor:angry:, and you've just about got it.
OTOH, it's a way of simulating a climb that goes on for an hour. A test environment for pushing yourself and finding your limits. That's what I'm using it for.
And after May I'll probably never do another.;)

*takes tea*

Ha ha! No, my gears are still the same I haven't had the time to have another fiddle. I'm the type that will be really stubborn and stay there for hours until I get it right. I'll end up getting quite ratty and will have to be dragged away and sent to bed, and subsequently banned from any more fiddling for a few days until I've "calmed down and got fresh eyes". Apparently.
Rode in today and the gears do change nice and smoothly, just not up to the lowest gear!

Go on, make Arch and I happy. I'm sure we won't really squabble. It'll just be a reasoned debate ;).
You could always post a few to the tea thread so we can drink tea and drool (women can multi task you know!).

What gentleman could refuse such an offer? As long as Waffles doesn't get jealous...

Well, most of them are on my PC at home. I'll have a dig around this evening and try and find a good one. Last time I went thorough about 127 pages or so of Google Image searches...

And I wonder if you gear hassles are down to the low end stop on the rear mech, or maybe the mech or hanger has taken a bash. Certainly you need the low gears around your part of the world. Llanberis Pass has been on my hit list for a number of years now - maybe this summer, now I have the whizzy new bike and I'm aiming for some really good form.:B)

The Doctor is handing out Tennants, extra!

Pffft! Very good.

Well, I've had the samovar for a bit now, and while some people keep the same avatar and sig line forever - like Arch has had the baby elephant sig line since the Dawn Of Time, or as long as I remember on C+ anyway - I change mine quite often.
Might keep that sig line for a bit though;), but I expect anyone who's not seen the Dr Who trailers thinks I'm really vain:blush:.
