hey ho,
warmed up and dried out now. got caught in a very cold heavy heavy shower this morning been lucky over the past 2 days and have had no showers, today not so lucky suffered from slush puppy brain freeze whilst out, twas very cold.

Just got home about 35mins ago, thank you again for a lovely day Doc'!
We had a lovely bimble about Hertfordshire.
We stopped for tea & cake and Arch had 'Cat Brain' Cake!!
And we did get to the zoo to see the baby elephant but as Whipsnade Zoo have an elephant house built like Belmarsh High Security Prison we had to abandon the kidnapping in favour of saying 'ahhh' a lot.

BTW not only did I kindly demonstrate for TheDoctor & Arch how to mend a puncture on a barbed wire fence I appear to have picked up summink on my way home!!!

FYI - 'Cat Brains' are walnuts. Coffee and walnut cake, as opposed to some death-by-chocolate thing with a Flake on (tdr1nkas' pick), and some rather good lemony cake.
I may have my limitations, but I know my comestibles.

And tdrinka - you're more than welcome. I had a great day with you and Arch. We'll have to do Norritch for the painted ellyfants.

I do remain slightly boggled on account of Arch gettin both tea & c*ff** in one sitting.

Not at all! I'm just trying to describe the comestibles. Three (thinnish) layers of chocolate cake, with chocolate filling, chocolate coating and a flake held on with chocolate strikes me as ideal, TBH. I might go back tomorrow for some!
