Now who remembers ELite I still play that it is only 4k in size
ARGH (pt 2). Yes, oh yes... I remember cycling home from Bournemouth with it in my backpack. I may have broken records on that ride. Oh my god, the plastic lense thingy that you had to use to read the security code. The sheer frustration of docking, until you could afford a docking computer (), the way that you could recognise a ship from miles out, despite it being only a couple of pixels in size, just by the way it moved, establishing a trade route dealing in drugs and furs, picking fights with police Vipers just for the hell of it, learning that the mining laser may be slow but, oh boy, is it powerful.

No, never heard of it. ;)

Daley Thompson's Decathlon was a favourite in our house. I'm sure my index fingers bend back further than they would have done normally.

Jet Set Willy was good ;).

On the beverages front - can I offer anyone a can of Hilldodger?

I'm having a small celebration. The house is mine .
Just need to pick up the keys on sat and move the following weekend.

I will leave Royston Vasey and I get a 10 mile each way commute .

I really ought to give up at this point because I could go on all night about old 80s computer games. Heh, DTs Decathlon. I broke a joystick on that but still won by waggling the wires about.

Not a problem, I'm quite safe, the only painting that needs doing is the cupboard under the stairs, the garden gate and a Muriel on the shed.

Nope, never had that one, but then I was more inclined towards the likes of Treasure Island Dizzy, Creatures, Rainbow Islands and adventure games like The Hobbit etc. Oooh, and I loved Ghostbusters! I still have an old C64 somewhere too. Must dig it out one day and see if it still works.
