Well, it's made a fine choice in tdr1nka then.

Last day, yes, so it's all a bit sad, yet exciting, in the way that these things are. There's the feeling of loss when something ends, but there's something new and exciting and better to look forward to. But you still feel something for what you leave behind...

I can imagine you at the end of today, bunjying a box containing a framed photo, red ring binder and a plant on to your bike rack, turning to have one last look at the place, blinking the tears away you turn around and pedal off into the sunset........

Cue theme tune for, 'The Littlest Hobo'.
*blubs*

Tea? *sniff*

One of the attributes that attracted my girlfriend to me is my ability to sing that. So much so that she got me a t-shirt with a piccy of the eponymous hound, accompanied by the legend "Maybe Tomorrow, I'll Wanna Settle Down".
Not entirely sure it's appropriate for a commited relationship, but there you go! ;)

LOL, I nearly choked on my tea and squirted it through my nose. Very funny!

Heh-heh. It's not the place, it's the people. The office I'm in will be shut in about 5 months when the lease runs out, so there's very much a feeling of beginning of the end...
Just got back from the local hostelry, with a little Admans doing the good stuff, so I may have to have a little kip later.

Tea through the nostrils? You sound really classy, Plax. It's very messy when that happens. ;) Good laugh though.

*phew!*
I don't have to add Plax to the list of forummers that I owe new
keyboards to!

My mate once let fly a whole mouthful of hot gravy from his nostrils during a tea time bet that went hilariously wrong!

"...Down the road, that's where I'll always be. Ev'ry stop I make, I make a new friend, can't stay for long, just turn around, I'm gone again...."

Altogether at the top of your voices:

"Maybe tomorrow...."

Oh, dear, I'll be crying in a minute...

I've never actually seen this program, and I am unfamiliar with its content.

Should I be admitting that? What's it all about?

Oh, kettle's on, alecetc!

Then my vignette was fairly pointless.

The Littlest Hobo was the Lassie of the 80's.
In each episode a friedly dog wanders into town, saves the day and leaves at the end.

TEA UP!!

Start of the theme tune from a well-known science fiction program?

Oh, I see. I managed to miss it, Shame, it sounds good. Better than Champion the wonder Horse anyway, although that's no great challenge TBH.;)

no, part of Hobo theme. Dammit, if I could find a way to upload an MP3 file, I could stick it in. Is there a way?

The Littlest Hobo was an American Berman Shepherd type I think...
