Gooseberries... Did someone mention gooseberries? A good gooseberry cobbler is one of the finest puddings known to humanity.. I am tempted to go into cook mode.

Me, me, ME! Can I have the biggest first piece, please?

I remember whipping some cream once and then couldent be bothered to make the pudding so i just ate it all from the bowl.

Hullooooo, have I missed pud?
I'm finally relaxing after a hard day chasing down cat insulin.

Kettle is on BTW!

Mr Wafflycat is insisting more be made. He's had seconds, wants thirds and as I was hoping for some decent ahh.. *reward* I may be disappointed, just having to hoist him up to bed later, due to his immobility due to crumble overload.

The last time I cooked for someone I was rewarded most indecently:tongue:. I'd not settle for a decent reward if I were you:biggrin:

Hiya Doc'
Yes 'Tuesday' has diabetes, 2x3ml injections a day.

I got home late and totally soaked last night after riding up to Caledonian Rd. to watch a rather splendid recording of 'Milton Jones' for R4.

My hands were still a bit puffy and cold after the rain and while priming the syringe I dropped the vial of insulin which smashed on the carpet!?!

After a lot of running around I managed to collect some at 17:30 in Victoria.

Hopefully my luck will improve tomorrow as I am going to be 50ft up on a roof re-fitting a satellite dish which came out of the wall in the high winds earlier this year.

Hands TheDoctor a nice cup of Earl Gr*y!

Tea and biskits please! I'm craving biskits at the moment. I'm trying to resist the urge to go and buy some as the shops shut and I ain't going to Tesco's!
On a lighter note, I finally have some decent tea in. Thought I'd try Typhoo this time, instead of my usual Tetley's. Couldn't find any Builders Tdr1nka, otherwise I'd have been tempted to try them!

btw,all these Bonj avatars are sending me potty - It's harder to make out who has posted what when your skimming through the posts!

The doctor are you actually a real doctor then?

No. Nononono. I have a worrying fondness for TV science fiction, and I am the proud owner of a woolly Dalek (see Tea? passim). I work in electronic test and IT.

@ Plax - I'll change mine back soon. Whoever's got Arch's baby elephant at the moment is confusing the hell out of me. Thank goodness for you and Waffles as fixed points in a fast-changing and confusing world. Have some tea and biskits. And bara brith.xx(

@ Night Train - is that a Visage reference by any chance? I have some white wine on the go, cheers, but anyone who likes Earl Grey is to be encouraged IMHO.
