Any tea going? I'm still craving biskits.

Do you think I should chop a tree down? I have a big one in the garden and the scabby local kids like to trespass on my property and climb in it. I'm very tempted to chop it down just to spite them.

Much appreciated. Just what I needed!

Better yet buy an air rifle!

I'd love to, but I'd get into trouble for shooting dogs and small children. I was cross yesterday too. Got home to find some horrible four legged creature had sh*t by my front door. I've put up with having my driveway used as a toilet, but my front door is pushing it. To top it off there was more poo further down the path this morning . I threw a load of bleach down before setting off for work, and it seems to have worked. Now I need to find some specialist outdoor product that stops dogs from using your property as a toilet.
I think my garden just attracts small children and poo. Few years ago I used to get really wound up by the neighbours cat who had "adopted" my garden and taken a shine to doing it's business by my washing line. It passed away  and I've not had any trouble since.

In 2004, the Dun Run was my first century and my first overnight ride  It wasn't easy, but easier than I thought it would be.

Two years ago in the Mighty Year of Cycling, Chuffy and I managed the Dun Run (in the drizzle) and the Exmouth Exodus (in balmy temperatures).

Last year we did the Exodus in pi*sing rain on minimal miles. My fuelling and layering strategy went wrong and the half way point is the closest I've ever been to packing on an "official" ride. And I was supposed to be one of the sweepers

However, after terrifying the Providers of Biscuits at the half way point by staring at them and inhaling their custard cream supply before first recovering the ability to speak, drinking lots of restorative tea and shovelling Lucozade tablets and ibuprofen down my neck I carried on. Second half of the ride was fine!

My mate that did the dun run filled his bottles with guniness which I must admit I found rather impressive if a tad risky.

Chances are that La Baggage and I will be crewing some kind of roving tea stop (van lend and catering equipment loan permitting). If that does happen then there will be much tea, many biskits and possibly bacon butties. Oh and the ride ends at a seaside greasy spoon cafe with fine views of the sea, the Exe estuary and the hill that obscures our house.

So what time will you be having breakfast that day, Chuffy and Baggy?;)
