Boris being Boris for the next couple of years will provide Misery-guts Broon with the ideal opportunity to point out all of the likely forthcoming gaffs from the London Mayor's office to say to the electorate

Boris being Boris will provide ample opportunity for Cameron to woe the day Boris got in, disown Boris and try to insist that really, the Conservatives aren't like Boris at all, even though Boris was the offical candidate.
Just think of the opportunities for national frivolity with Boris when the Olympics come to town!
Just think of Boris being the host to many an important figure on the international stage that visits our capital over the next however many years he's in charge as the mayor of the nation's capital city...
Of course, Boris could confound all expectations and be a perfect mayor. Or Boris could just carry on being the Boris he has always been in public life.

I got them fitted but the back wheel needed truing which delayed things a couple of days. Now all is in order but I couldn't find a set of shoes I liked so will have to work on that over the coming days. I think even the platform side was better than the old ones tbh, some benefit there anyway, but the difficulty I even had getting the right side with flats does have me worried about the SPDs.

. We're actually going on that TGV. An easy way of getting there, but it takes a little while. And yes, I'll have a support person along. I don't expect to be in serious difficulty though, and if I am, I'll leave it for another time. It's not going anywhere, after all.

Raspberry beer? Blech! Whiskey, slice of lemon, maybe a clove or two, bit of hot water. It's good on a cold night, or a night when you've got a cold.
Anyway, each to their own. Just done some rather nice Seth Effrican Shiraz with roast lamb, so I'm feeling happy. All packed, and hot to trot...
