The evening meal Chez Wafflycat is going to be a simple but tasty affair. Tomorrow is the wedding anniversary of Mr & Mrs Wafflycat, so I'm doing something Mr W will enjoy :sad:

So it's steak with jersey royal pots and a large acreage of salad vegetables. Pudding is a rather tasty chocolate torte as a treat. Some sort of fermented juice of grape will accompany said feast.

As our table in the garden is an ancient best plakky one which is discoloured & only fit for using as a potting table, I've indulged in a new table & chairs in the garden furniture department.

Young Master Wafflycat is being remarkably human on his return home from university. He came shopping with me today to do the heavy lifting of said garden furniture and he did not moan in any way. Good lad! How long will it last?:ohmy:

Of course, a glass or three of white wine would not go amiss, Longers.

By the time you turned up here last night it'd all gone . Evaporation I think .

Best go get some more eh?

You two talking about food is making me quite hungry - takeaway chinese for me tonight, a local firm advertises itself as having no MSG in any of the food, I'd better try it out then hadn't I? I've got to spend my overtime somehow

Tea anyone? Pot is on. I'm having one to err.. dilute the effect of several glasses of wine this evening. Glorious evening, eating al fresco. Good food, wine, family, talking, love, laughter, sunny and warm evening in green countryside with my husband, son, cats & hens. *Glorious* I am a happy Wafflycat.

You is a very luck Waffles!

I am a very luck tdr1nka as my big brother has just given me(quite out of the blue)all the money I need to pay for my Cycling Instructor course and that when I get the monies back from the Govt. I can put that towards a new bike!!!

Tea is most certainly UP!

I'd join you in celebratory brew but it's never a good idea to mix the grain and the leaf

In more ways than I originally meant .
